Monterey Museum of Art’s 2026 Block Party!

For the past few years, the Monterey Museum of Art has been hosting an arts festival called the Block Party. This eventturns Calle Principal into a celebration of local artisans, musicians, and organizations within the community. This year’s theme for the event was Art of the Unexpected, and our Studio Assistant Raven Cook had the idea to do a 3D version of the drawing game “Exquisite Corpse”! It’s a lot to explain with words…so here’s a video of her explaining the process!

When the event began, the rain and wind tried to ruin our project for the community. But eventually the sun came out and we finally got some artists to participate!
