Hello! My name is Alana Vazquez Poston and I’m an Afro Latina artist that works with acrylics and color pencil. Some of my pieces are political commenting on the social injustices in my community along within our government. Reason why I make art because it’s an outlet for me to express my beliefs and feelings. I’ve been drawing since I was 5 and I joined YAC through a friend.
