Hi my name is Julia and I am a senior at Carmel Highschool. I have been at YAC for 2 years but have been doing art all my life. As a young artist I am still searching for my niche, so exploration of mediums and subject matter is very prevalent in my work. These three works are a portrayal of my artistic experimentation as I go from focusing on the womens rights movement to entomology and finally to the study of the body. What I like about art, at least for me, is that it is so unpredictable. It's kind of like writing a book without having a plan, I can't wait to see what the path looks like to get to the end.
