Zoey McNeil’s “Human”

Zoey (she/him) has been a YACster for three years now, and ever since has contributed so many amazing pieces to our shows. His prolificacy these past years seems to be fueled from his necessity of self-expression – whether it’s exploring identity, personal experiences, or the state of the world around him.

Zoey recently finished a new piece called “Human,” which will not only be in the upcoming Summer Art Show, but we also featured it on the Summer Show Poster. We had the great opportunity to sit down with Zoey and hear about what inspired this piece, and also learn more about her process as an artist.
