Pulpfest was a SUCCESS!
Surprisingly, Monterey County has yet to see an animation festival – that was, until Pulpfest took place this week! With over 30 animations showing at the event, Pacific Grove Art Center was packed with people ready to see some great animated short films.
Many of our YACalumni were involved with Pulpfest, most notably being Hailey Geiler as the co-director of the event – as well as one of the founders of PulpTV (the organization that hosted the event). Along with Hailey’s animated film Cop Out, YACalumni Elio Geiler featured his animated film Laika, and Oliver Fredericksen featured his animated music video So High (Outrageous) in the festival as well!
We were also honored to bring our YACster’s art to the event, with our own booth at the venue! Thank you to YACsters Mel and Iphie for joining us. Check out our time at Pulpfest:
