YAC is proud to be an LGBTQ+ affirming space, providing a space for young artists to find, express, and celebrate their identities. Did you know that the Pride Movement started with the Stonewall Uprising in 1969 as a series of protests? Since the first anniversary, it became a symbol of resistance against discrimination and oppression.

This year, we wanted to create the space for our artists to not just express their identities but also express how they feel in today's political climate.
